The St. James Wildcat football team recently traveled to Clinton, MS to participate in the Super Clash Jamboree sponsored by Mississippi College. The Wildcats, joined by fellow Louisiana high schools St. Helena Central, East St. John and Warren Easton, were one of 20 teams participating in the event.

The two-day Jamboree featured 10 games that featured two, 12-minute halves. St. James challenged Seminary (Miss.) High School and came away with a 21-0 victory. Seminary finished with a 10-4 record last year and reached the quarterfinal round of the Mississippi Class 3A state playoffs.
