Vacherie Man Gets 20-years For Drug And Gun Charges

Twenty-third Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin’s office reports that on November 13, 2024, Maurice Collins (age 40 of 1110 Collins St. Vacherie) pled guilty to three counts of Distribution, Manufacture, or Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule IV Controlled Dangerous Substance, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Illegal Use of a Weapon while in Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance.
