Gramercy Elementary School Establishes Gator Care Closet

Gramercy Elementary School along with other schools in St. James Parish Public School System, recently partnered with the Louisiana Department of Health Bureau of Community Preparedness and the Office of Public Health Region 3 Health Disparities Team, which includes Jennifer Folse and Jasmine Alexander, who partnered with Aetna Better Health of Louisiana to secure funding to establish hygiene closets in schools throughout the region. The funding went directly to the schools, with assistance from the United Way Southeast office.
