St. James Parish Hospital is continuing work to complete posthurricane repairs. Phase I repairs temporarily rerouted entry into the hospital’s Urgent Care and Therapy Center. Phase I repairs should be completed this week. Upon completion of Phase I repairs, the doors to the new entrance of the Medical Plaza addition will reopen and Urgent Care and Therapy Center patients can enter as usual.
The St. James Parish NAACP Chapter #6315 held its Executive meeting on Thursday, March 10th and was honored to have the local pastors present to discuss voter’s registration and redistricting issues concerning our area.
