The 2023-2024 school year has been off to a great start! The teachers and staff at Vacherie Elementary School would like to recognize the following students who have worked diligently to earn awards for the 1st Nine Weeks Honor Roll.

MIRACULOUS PRAYER

The family of Andre “Deke” Jacob, Jr. Would like to express their gratitude to the First Responders - St. James Parish deputies and Acadian Ambulance paramedics for responding so quickly to our call. We would also like to thank the staff of Roselynn Funeral Home, Fr. Dufresne, the choir and especially, Brandy, his godchild who sang a beautiful song. The mass honoring Deke was beautiful. A special thanks to the Bereavement Com-munity and those who donated toward the food and who brought food. We would also like to thank all who sent floral arrangements, plants, trees, masses, and money offerings for masses. Most importantly, we could not have made it through this difficult time without the love and support of our family and friends! We thank all of you!
