Representative with 12 years of service and an experienced attorney, was sworn in on February 24, 2026, as Justice of the Peace for District 1 in the town of Gramercy.
Charmaine Ordeneaux received March’s Garden of the Month honors from the Riverside Garden Club. Club members surprised her with the sign. She has been a member of the club since 1986 and was truly humbled by this honor.
On January 24th, 2026, American Legion Post 171 had the honor and privilege of hosting Dan K Wiley, who is the current National Commander of the American Legion.
The St. James Career and College Center FFA Chapter will host its Annual Spring Plant Sale from March 19th–21th at the St. James C3 greenhouse and community members, gardeners, and plant lovers are invited to stop by and support local agricultural education while preparing their gardens for the spring season.
