The 11th annual East St James Parish Top 6 Bass Tourney was held on December 6th and when the boats returned and all the fish were weighed and the pounds and ounces tallied, the Tri-Parish Fishing Club came out on top.
The Thirty-third annual Festival of the Bonfires was held last weekend at the Lutcher Park and the crowds were large, especially for the always popular Gumbo Cook-off held on Friday night.
Fifteen members of the Lutcher High School Class of 1955 gathered at Nobile’s Restaurant on Wednesday, November 30th, for a class reunion.
Parish President Pete Dufresne and the Recreation Department are pleased to announce the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the new St James Parish Recreation Building, prior to the Biddy Basketball season opener.
