The Petit and Lucia families and friends gathered at The Garden of Angels at St. Peter Chanel School Sunday afternoon for a memorial service in honor of Lt. Col. Joseph A. Lucia, III, who died of a form of cancer in 2010.
Approximately 50 people gathered at the Vacherie Courthouse Annex for a St. James Parish Planning Commission Public Hearing held Monday, May 9th.
The St. James High School Band traveled to Atlanta, GA on April 21- 24, 2022. The band participated in the “Festivals in the Parks” Band Festival.
St. James Parish Government Department of Human Resource, CAA has received a grant for $119,139.20 from United States Department of Agriculture for the Housing Preservation Program. The grant will improve the quality of 16 substandard homes for residents of St. James Parish.
