Last Friday, former St. James Parish School District psychologist La-Tasha Cubas filed a civil lawsuit against the St. James Parish School Board and several School District’s employees.
The Lutcher Mayor and Board of Aldermen met in regular session on Tuesday and after years of hard work securing $500,000 in funding to resurface a section of King Avenue, the Town now has a contractor that will soon do the work.
The St. James Parish Council once again met virtually from their homes on Wednesday, April 29th, and Parish President Peter Dufresne gave an update on Parish activities as the Parish continues to be affected by the Coronavirus.
