In honor of Memorial Day, which was Monday, May 25th, VFW Post 5852 members, along with members and families of Boy Scout Troop 59, Pack 59, Girl Scout Troop 20319 and several other Veterans, placed over 1,700 flags at the gravesites of veterans laid to rest in St. James Parish.
At the beginning of every decade in the United States the Federal Government attempts to get an accurate count of the nation’s population, and with it now being the year 2020, it is time to count us all once again.
The community parade is open to the public and extended family. The campus event is closed to the public and only for LHS seniors and their family members riding in the one vehicle with the seniors. All involved must practice social distancing and will not be allowed to approach others. This is a school sponsored event to honor the Class of 2020 and all should act accordingly.
