Port Of South LA Awarded $13.4M Federal Transportation Grant

The Port of South Louisiana is pleased to announce that we have been awarded a $13.4 million federal port infrastructure development grant for improvements at Globalplex Intermodal Terminal. The project submitted for consideration and subsequent award is fully intermodal in that it will include a new heavy capacity dock access bridge, an access road, a rail spur, and a dry storage area with conveyors to move bulk material.
