Minola A. 'BeBe' Marquette Griffin, 88, a native of Lutcher, LA and resident of Gonzales, LA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 16, 2024.

Minola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, sister, and aunt. She was a wonderful person who adored her family and cherished the time spent with them. A devoted member of the Prairieville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, her faith was a guiding light throughout her life.

Minola is preceded in death by her husband, Albert Griffin Sr.; sons, Allen Griffin and Michael Griffin; daughter, Tina Zeller; parents, Frank Raymond Marquette and Minola Marie Rossi Marquette; and grandparents, Joseph Rossi and Edna Boutte Rossi.

She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Doug) Schaubhut, Cindy (Chad) Rouyea, Albert Griffin Jr., and Joe (Christy) Griffin; her sisters, Natalie Marquette and Sandra Torres; Nieces and Nephews; 14 grandchildren; and 19 greatgrandchildren, all of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy., Gonzales, LA, on Friday, October 25, 2024, from 9 AM until the Celebration of Minola's Life at 11 AM. A committal service will follow at St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum in Union, LA.

The family extends special thanks to the staff at Gonzales Healthcare and Lifesource Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lifesource Hospice or Samaritan's Purse.

Minola’s kindness and love will be deeply missed but her spirit will live on in the lives she touched.
