Annabelle Louque Bourgeois, a native of Grand Pointe, LA and a resident of Gramercy, LA went to her heavenly home on December 14, 2025 at the age of 96.

Beloved wife of the late Lawrence “Nu Nu” Bourgeois. Loving mother of Derald Bourgeois (Nancy), Brian “Cookie” Bourgeois & friend, Linda Granier, and Darlene Bourgeois Faucheux (Bobby). She is preceded in death by her son, Drake Bourgeois (Millie) and granddaughter, Cherie Bourgeois. Also preceded in death by her 5 brothers, Newton “Tanee”, Morris “Buck”, Alcee “AJ”, Melvin “Ying”, Wayne “T-Coke” and 3 sisters, Enola Brignac, Gladys Louque and Eunice Poche. Daughter of Louise Martin Louque and Alcee Louque. She had 14 grandchildren, numerous great and greatgreat grandchildren, and was known to them as “Maw Belle”.

Annabelle worked as a head waitress for Abreo’s and then for Dr. Ward Turner. She loved to sew and could make just about anything you can imagine. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother whose love for her family had no boundaries. Maw Belle will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Egan Healthcare Services and Hope Healthcare & Hospice for the compassionate care they provided as well as to her caregivers and to Dr. Vellanki and staff.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church in Gramercy. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with the mass of Catholic Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Paulina.
