The family of Dr. Carl Poche would like to give thanks for the outpouring of prayers, love and support. Your kind words, comforting gestures and shared stories have given us strength, and will always cherish these fond memories. Thanks also to Father Vincent Dufrene, Emery Forythe, the funeral choir, the Knights of Columbus, the Lions Club, Rose Lynn Funeral Home and the military personnel for their Mass and visitation participation.

George Philip Weidert, a native of Mt. Airy, LA, and resident of Gramercy, LA, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026. He was the husband of the late Linda Roques Weidert, and the father of Christel Weidert Scott, Chad (Susan) Weidert, and the late Eric Weidert.

Kathleen “Kitty” S. Martin entered her eternal rest on May 13, 2026, at the age of 89. She was a native of Gramercy, Louisiana, and later in life resided in Gonzales, Louisiana.
