Mary Anne Amedee Folse, 89, died Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 1:17 a.m. Born July 26, 1933 she was a native and resident of Vacherie, Louisiana

She is survived by children, Kent Folse, Cecile LeBoeuf (Kenneth 'Snap'), Wade Folse (Jessica), Sherry Folse (Lester); 8 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Janice Borne, Gary Amedee (Rosemary), Lonnie Amedee (Denise), Wayne Amedee (Connie), Charlene Goan (Gene), Rosie Delatte (Joe); sisters in law, Paulette Amedee and Terry Amedee. She is also survived by her two special nieces who she considered like sisters, Laura Lee Waguespack Schexnayder and Lily Mae Waguespack Perque.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Leo Folse; parents, Ives Pierre and Cecile Becnel Amedee; siblings, Richard Amedee (Geraldine), Nolan Amedee, Hilda Folse (Harold), Frankie Amedee; brother in law, Richard Borne.

A visitation was held on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial began at 1:00 p.m. at the church with burial following in the church cemetery.

The door was always open to her home and coffee was always ready to share.

Ordoyne Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
