Gralyn Anthony Jacques

Gralyn Anthony Jacques, 75, of New Orleans, LA, passed away on August 4, 2024.

Gralyn was born on January 10, 1949 in Convent, Louisiana to the late Robert and Lillie Jacques. He was the last born of 9 children. He attended Cypress Grove High School and went on to join the United States Air Force (A1C), where he was stationed in Thailand. He served for 7 years.

He was a beloved brother, parent, grandparent, uncle and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by three children, Gralyn Jacques, Jr. (T.J.), Martwan Jacques and Ebonic Jacques Taylor; grandchildren, Jayanna Jacques, Samya Jacques, Javaughn Jacques, Makayla Taylor, Aiden Kilbert, Arielle Kilbert and Kayden Kilbert; sisters, Geraldine LeBoeuf and Eloise Banks of Convent, LA and Jacqueline Goodwin (Paul) of Gonzales, LA; two brothers, Norman Jacques of Los Angeles, CA, Michael Jacques of Convent, LA and God Daughter, Angela Jones-Lewis of Houston, Texas.

A service to celebrate Gralyn’s life, including full military honors presented by the United States Air Force, will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Slidell, LA.
