June Joseph St. Pierre, Jr.

June Joseph St. Pierre, Jr., age 80, was born on February 13, 1938 and passed away on October 25, 2018. He was a native of Gramercy, LA and a resident of Lutcher, LA.

June is survived by his wife of 55 years, Mary Leola Laiche St. Pierre; 3 sons, Blair Michael (Karen), Aaron Paul (Teel), and Stuart Joseph St. Pierre (Tanya); 2 daughters, Stephanie Collins (John) and Lauren Therese Brignac (Todd); 7 grandchildren, Seth Brignac (Jennie), Taylor Brignac, Jordan, Gavin, Kristen, Joshua, and Paige St. Pierre; sisters, Nettie Calcagno (Frank) and Judy Heltz (Daniel); and brothers, George St. Pierre (Patricia) and Gene St. Pierre (Linda).

He was preceded in death by his parents, June, Sr. and Lema St. Pierre, twin brothers, and sister, Yvette Haydel.

He worked as an instrumentation technician and retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 35 years of service. He was a serviceman in the United States Navy. He was a member of the St. James Boat Club.

He was a loving, caring husband and father. Always ready to lend a hand when needed. Our family handyman.

The family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice for their exceptional in-home hospice care.

A visitation was held in his honor on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 9 to 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial took place at 11 a.m. followed by burial in the St. Joseph Cemetery.
