Shelly Ann Bye, a resident of St. James Parish, passed on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at the age of 47. She loved collecting dolphins of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time going to church. Eeyore of Winnie-the-Pooh was a favorite of hers. She adored her three dogs; Missy, Max, & Ni-Ni.
Vivian Faucheux Waguespack, age 85, passed away at her home surrounded by family on May 23, 2021 after a battle with Alzheimer’s. She was a native of Wallace and a resident of Vacherie for the last 60 years. She was happily married for 60 years to her husband, Thomas L. Waguespack. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of Court St. Philip 1504.
Dolores “Poochie” Oubre, a native of Paulina, Louisiana and a resident of Metairie, Louisiana for the past 6 years passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. On Monday, May 17, 2021 at the age of 78, Dolores entered into our Lords Heavenly Kingdom after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers.
The family of Roland “Bubby” Guidry is saddened to announce his passing on May 18, 2021 at the age of 69 from complications of lung cancer. Born on November 30, 1951 in Lutcher, Louisiana, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Elizabeth McNeill; and granddaughters, Laurel and Abbygail; sister, Donna Erceg (Jerry); and brother, Reggie Guidry. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
