Patricia “P-Pat” LeMoine a lifelong resident of Lutcher passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age of 69.

Sylvia Estave passed away on Monday, August 29, 2022 at the age of 91. She was born in Lutcher, LA and was a resident of Gramercy, LA. She is survived by her sisters, Helena Estave, Ruby Vaughn and Susie Jacob (Darrel); nieces, Dianna Vaughn Garcia (Marcos), Mallory Garcia, Lesley Jacob Mautone (Chris) and Gabrielle Mautone; and nephews, Thomas Vaughn (Karen) and Nicholas Sylvia was preceded in death by her mother, Oneida Estave; sisters, Dorothy Estave, Helen Estave and Vernise Estave Moore; and two brothers-in-law, Billy Vaughn and Homer Moore, Jr.

Marguerite “Git” Louque Roussel, a lifelong resident of Hester, Louisiana, was born on August 30, 1922, and passed away on her 100th birthday, She is survived by her children, Sharon Roussel Kliebert, Shirley Roussel Haase, Nelson Roussel, Jr. (Myrleen), Susan Roussel Hutchinson (Douglas), Leonard Roussel (Cindy), and Tammy Roussel Woods (Alvyn); 13 grandchildren, Michelle Bourgeois Weber (O’Neal), Jon Bourgeois (Heidi), Ray Kliebert, Jr. (Amy), Hollie Kliebert Haydel (Tray), Jude Haase (Holly), Lauren Haase (Jared), Joseph Roussel, III (Stephanie), Todd Roussel (Paula), Jennifer Roussel Milazzo (Kyle), Chad Roussel (Direxa), Jamie Roussel Luquette (Keith), Stacey Roussel (Troy), and Anna Woods; 27 great-grandchildren; sisters, Melodie “Mickey” Ory and Elizabeth “Betty” Scott; brother-in-law, Jean Troxclair; and sistersin- law, Janet Louque and Ann Louque. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband Nelson Joseph Roussel, Sr.; children, infant Michael Roussel and Evela Roussel Bourgeois (Maurice); sonsin- law, Ray Kliebert, Sr. and Jerry Haase; grandchildren, infants Joseph and Michelle Bourgeois; parents, Alfred and Melodia Louque; siblings, Whitley “Whit” Louque (Wandene), Ferdinand “Knox” Louque (Helen), Hubert “Karot” Louque (Virginia), Hilton “Buck” Louque (Shirley), Raymond “Pieyas” Louque (Dorothy), Alfred “Peck” Louque (Katherine), Louisa “Gal” Troxclair, Melvin “Cacoon” Louque, Robert “Bobby” Louque, Eula Mae “Mitsy” Louque, and Joyce Olivier (Marc, Jr.); and brothers-inlaw, Royal Ory and George Scott.

Emilie “Nemi” B. Keller entered paradise on September 1, 2022, at her residence. She was 87 years old. A native and resident of Lutcher, LA.

POLLET

Woodie Joseph Pollet a life-long resident of Lutcher, LA, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at the age of 74. Beloved husband of Judy Guidry Pollet for 54 ½ years. Loving father of Stacey Neill (John) and Brandon Pollet (Holly). Grandfather of Madison Neill, Carter Neill, Piper Pollet, and Berkley Pollet. Son of the late Amilcar and Marjorie Pollet. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Woodie was one of the founders of the Paulina Fire Department in the early 1970's. He was an active member of the Lutcher / Gramercy Jaycees, Lutcher / Gramercy Lions Club, where he served as the Secretary for 5 years. He received the Lions Club Member of the Year Award, the highly coveted Melvin Jones Award, and was also a 3rd Degree Knight of Columbus member. Woodie was an avid fisherman.
