The St. James Lady Wildcat Softball team completed play in the Assumption Tournament finishing with a 2-1 record after defeating East St. John and Covenant Christian and losing to host Assumption.
The Lutcher Lady Bulldog softball team began its season on a successful note after defeating the Ascension Christian Lady Lions by a 12-6 score. Neither team scored in the first two innings of play. Ascension Christian jumped out to a 2-1 in the third inning. Lutcher's lone run came on a basesloaded walk.
