The Lutcher High Lady Bulldog Softball team captured a 12-4 victory over the E.D. White Lady Cardinals in a nondistrict contest played last week.
The St. James Lady Wildcat Basketball team saw its season come to an end when the Westlake Lady Rams registered a 52-38 victory in a firstround Division III nonselect playoff contest.
The Lutcher High Bulldog Baseball team completed Jamboree play at St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Hammond last week. The three inning Jamboree games saw Lutcher drop a 6-0 loss to Walker and then both St. Thomas Aquinas and the Bulldogs finished in a 4-4 tie in the second contest.
St. James Parish traditionally produces very talented high school football players and this year’s senior class no doubt meets the standard.
