A shooting in Lutcher that occurred last Saturday night claimed the life of a 19-year old Denham Springs man and severly injured a 17-year old male also from Denham Springs.
Twenty-third Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin’s office reports on May 19, 2025, Clydedric Joseph (30-years old, 2190 Levy Gaudet St. Lutcher) pled guilty to Attempted Manslaughter, and on January 20, 2026, Joseph was sentenced to 20-years with the Louisiana Department of Corrections (with credit for time served).
