ST. JAMES PARISH MARKET DAY: St. James Parish will host another Market Day on Saturday, May 10, at its new location. Market Day is moving from the St. James Parish Welcome Center to Lutcher Park and will be held from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. There is plenty of parking space at Lutcher Park and walking is easier. This day before Mother’s Day is a great time for shopping for mom while enjoying a great lunch and appetizing treats. Market Day at the District 7 Park was very successful. I visited at about 11 a.m. and most of the food booths were already sold out. There are great bargains at Market Day.
