St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, CAA has received funding from the Emergency Food and Shelter National Board to assist individuals who are at risk to food & security and / or homelessness.

State Representative Ken Brass attended Tuesday evening’s special Lutcher Town meeting and committed to help Mayor Patrick St. Pierre and the Board of Aldermen apply for $1 million in Capital Outlay funding through the State and the money would be spent improving streets in the Town.
St. James Parish Registrar of Voters Taylor Roussel would like to announce important dates for the upcoming General Election to be held on December 7, 2024.
Next Tuesday, November 5, 2024, is election day and registered voters in St. James Parish will head to the polls to cast their vote.
