Against the tragic backdrop of a historic conflict in Europe, St. James Parish residents unite with millions around the globe to promote the timely theme “Pursue Peace” as they participate in a six-part annual event scheduled for July and August 2022.
Many mothers are as much a victim of abortion as their unborn babies. There are minor girls whose parents have forced them to get an abortion, aborting their own grandchildren. Women have been coerced into having an abortion by their boyfriends or husbands, often resulting in the demise of the relationship. Adult men have traveled across state lines to purchase an abortion for the pregnant, underage girls they have abused— destroying the evidence so that the abuse may continue undetected. Statutory rape laws vary by state; however, the suspected sexual abuse of a minor has to be reported by health workers to the authorities. Recordings have been made of Planned Parenthood workers advising women (who pretended over the telephone to be minor girls in a “sting” operation) on how to procure an abortion by keeping the age of their adult boyfriend a secret.
