The Louisiana Sheriffs’ Scholarship Program will award scholarships providing assistance to worthy Louisiana students in furthering their education and training with resources made available through the Louisiana Sheriffs’ Honorary Membership Program.
Low-income residents of St. James Parish may be eligible for financial assistance to help pay utility bills, through the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). The LIHEAP program is a federally funded program administered by St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, CAA made available to St. James Parish through the Louisiana Housing Corporation. Persons applying for assistance must provide the necessary documentation below to complete a LIHEAP application:

The 3 Ell’s Club are looking for the next beneficiary for their upcoming 2025 show. The 3 Ell’s, which stands for “Lyrics, Laughter, and Ladies,” have been around since 1965. The all female charity organization has been using their talents of entertainment and comedy to promote charitable acts and performs a variety show every other year to raise money that will directly support other organizations, groups, and/or individuals of St. James Parish.
