The St. James Parish Retired Teachers Association (SJPRTA) regular scheduled meeting for September 14 is being replaced by the District II Louisiana Retired Teachers Association (LRTA) Fall Meeting.
The week of August 28 through September 1, 2023 has been designated as Voter Registration Week under the Provision of R.S. 18 and shall be conducted annually.
It was standing room only inside the St. James High auditorium last Thursday when students, faculty, parents, local and state officials, industry representatives, and numerous others gathered for the kick-off event of the Salute 1st program being implemented in our local schools.
