Last Wednesday, September 13th, at approximately 6:46 p.m., the St. James Parish 911 center received a call in reference to an individual being struck by a train in Gramercy.
St. James Parish Assessor Glenn Waguespack was present at last Wednesday’s St. James Parish Council meeting to hold the yearly Board of Review, and while there he took time to give the Council an update on the Parish’s tax portfolio.
Twenty-third Judicial District Attorney Ricky Babin’s Office reports that on September 11, 2023, Joseph Johnson, Jr. (10419 Legion St., Convent), age 37, pled guilty to Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon.
