Last Wednesday, elected officials in the Towns of Lutcher and Gramercy gathered at King Solomon Baptist Church in Lutcher to take their oaths of office and to be officially sworn-in to represent their constituents.
The St. James Parish School Board met Tuesday evening and shortly after being sworn-in by Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal Judge Jude Gravois, the Board went straight to work in preparing to make an extremely important decision - hiring a new Superintendent of Schools.
