Financial Assistance To St. James Parish Residents
St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, Community Action Agency through the Emergency Food & Shelter CARES Program has funds available to assist parish residents who are experiencing a documented economic emergency due to COVID.
SPC 4th Grade News
Fourth grade students at St. Peter Chanel School were able to have their work published this past school year. Students worked on a poetry unit in their reading class.
SPC 3rd Grade News
The 3rd Graders at St. Peter Chanel school published a book of Limericks. The students finished a unit on poetry and they created a limerick of their own. The stu dents had a blast writing their poem and illustrating them. The kids always have a blast with this unit. Who know learning could be so fun!
Vacherie, LA Resident Participates In Internship With Renewable Energy Group
Rei-Mone Weber, Vacherie, LA resident, began a summer internship with Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REG) on May 17. Weber is working in the Engineering Department as part of the 12-week program.
