St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, Community Action Agency has been awarded funds through the Huey & Angelina Wilson Grant foundation to assist parish residents who are experiencing a documented financial hardship.

Louisiana Federal Credit Union (FCU) is excited to announce the recipients of its annual Ronald E. Thomas Memorial Scholarship. Five graduating seniors in southeast Louisiana were chosen by the credit union to receive $2,000 each. The 2021 scholarship recipients are Thomas Chapman of St. Charles Catholic High School, Skye Taylor of East Ascension High School, Emily Bradford of Lutcher High School, Blakely Heitz of St. Charles Catholic High School and Mia Schaubhut of Lutcher High School.

St. Charles Catholic is happy to share that two of their recent graduates, Riley Monica and Duncan Lowry, have been awarded $1000 each as part of the LHSAA Scholarship Awards. To qualify for this award, students must be the children or legal guardians of LHSAA members in good-standing for five or more years and the must submit an essay with their formal application. SCC is so proud of their coaching staff and of their graduates who qualified for these awards.
