The Lutcher Bulldog Baseball team was able to get just one game in despite all the rainfall last week. The Bulldogs battled the Newman Greenies in a non-district contest taking the lead in the sixth inning to clinch the 5-4 victory.
Mason Thomas Scioneaux, of Vacherie, Louisiana, was among the more than 60 University of Mississippi students to receive a 2021 Marcus Elvis Taylor Memorial Medal, the university's highest academic award.

Victoria Rocquin of Lutcher, Louisiana, was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Rocquin was initiated at Southeastern Louisiana University.
