In last week’s edition, in the article titled Council Calls Election To Renew Ad Valorem Taxes, we attributed words by St. James Parish President Peter Dufresne that were not correct and may have caused some confusion surrounding how the tax measures will be placed on the May 3, 2025 ballot.
