Now that St. James Parish has had some time to thaw out following the blizzard-like conditions we all experienced last Tuesday, we thought we would take a look into what St. James Parish officials and the public did to get through such an event.

The McNeese State University Honor Roll for the 2024 fall semester has been announced. The honor roll lists undergraduate students earning at least a 3.0 or B average while carrying 12 or more semester hours.
The St. James Parish School System offers program choices, and applications for the 2025-2026 school year are now open. All Magnet, Montessori, and St. Louis Academy applications are now available on the St. James Parish Schools' website at www.sjpsb.org. The application period begins on December 10, 2024 and will close on January 31, 2025.
Eight hundred ninetytwo undergraduate students were named to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List at Northwestern State University. Students on the Dean’s List must be enrolled full time and earn a grade point average of between 3.5 and 3.99.
