St. James Parish Council employees will enjoy an insurance premium holiday in the month of December, resulting in savings of $300 to $500 depending on their level of coverage. St. James Parish President Peter Dufresne said the Parish Administration changed health insurance carrier in July 2021, resulting in significant savings this year. The parish is passing the savings on to their employees and those retirees who pay for insurance coverage.
