Last Sunday, friends and family gathered to say farewell to Buzzy and Winky Nobile, who after 27-years owning and operating Nobile’s Restaurant in Lutcher, have decided to step away and retire.
The Lutcher-Cypress Grove-Romeville Athletic Hall of Fame, Inc. (LCGR HOF) committee has been working hard behind the scenes and the group is excited to finally announce the first slate of inductees.
The St. James Parish Sugar Queen Committee is proud to announce that on Saturday, August 10th, 2024, we will be celebrating our 71st annual Miss St. James Parish Pageant and our 32nd annual Teen Miss St. James Parish. Twelve girls from across the parish will compete in the St. James Parish Pageant at Lutcher High School Auditorium located at 1910 West Main Street in Lutcher at 6:00 p.m.
St. James Parish Hospital is one of 13 Louisiana healthcare facilities to receive the 2024 Funds for Safety Grant sponsored by LHA Trust Funds. The annual grant program helps healthcare organizations fund unique patient safety improvement initiatives.
