Non-Faculty coaches have been a growing trend since the LHSAA voted 25 years ago to approve non-faculty assistant coaches in all sports. In Louisiana, non-faculty coaches who aren't teachers at the school where they coach, have grown dramatically over the years. It started with the minor sports, such as wrestling and golf.
