Emergency Financial Assistance Available
St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, Community Action Agency has received a $5,000.00 donation from Atmos Energy to assist Atmos Energy customers with gas bills, deposits, reconnection fees, natural gas appliance replacement/ repair and customer gas line repair or replacement. Residents must have a utility disconnection notice and/or experiencing financial hardship to be eligible for emergency assistance.

Girl Scouts Louisiana East Kicks Off 2024 Girl Scout Cookie Season
Girl Scouts Louisiana East kicked off the 2024 Girl Scout Cookie season in southeast Louisiana on January 19, as Girl Scouts and their troops rally their communities to support the world’s largest entrepreneurial program for girls. This season, cookie lovers can enjoy the full assortment of Girl Scout Cookies, including fan favorites such as Thin Mints, Caramel deLites, Peanut Butter Sandwich and more.
