St. James Parish Government, Department of Human Resources, CAA (DHR) extends a very heartfelt thank you to all vendors and organizations for their support and contributions to the 2023 Toy & Coat Drive Thru event held Thursday, December 14, 2023, at the Convent Community Center. Your generosity allowed the agency to help three hundred and forty (340) children experience a warmer and brighter Christmas.

Hospital To Offer FREE Community Health Screenings In February

This February, St. James Parish Hospital is hosting a free Community Screening Event in recognition of Heart Health Month. Screenings will be offered in the hospital from February 1st February 29th from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday (with the exception of Mardi Gras Day). Participates are eligible for one free screening during the event.
