Kevin Lancaster, who lives in the Molaison community in Vacherie, along with two of his neighbors, voiced concern to the St. James Parish Council about the blighted property and the living conditions of their neighbor during the meeting Wednesday in Vacherie.
Both the St. James Parish Council and the St. James Parish School Board, as a result of the 2020 census data being released, are currently preparing for voting redistricting.
St James Parish Hospital announces the retirement of Frannie Waguespack, Nurse Practitioner. Frannie has served as a nurse practitioner for 40 years, touching many lives throughout her tenure.
St. James Parish Hospital is continuing work to complete posthurricane repairs. Phase I repairs temporarily rerouted entry into the hospital’s Urgent Care and Therapy Center. Phase I repairs should be completed this week. Upon completion of Phase I repairs, the doors to the new entrance of the Medical Plaza addition will reopen and Urgent Care and Therapy Center patients can enter as usual.
