Walk-in COVID-19 Vaccines, Pediatric Vaccines and Boosters are offered on Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. through St. James Urgent Care in our Medical Plaza (located to the right through our new entrance).
Any child four (4) years of age by September 30, 2022, as evidenced by a birth certificate, may enter Pre- School in St. James Parish for the 2022-2023 school session.
The St. James Parish NAACP Chapter #6315 held its Executive meeting on Thursday, March 10th and was honored to have the local pastors present to discuss voter’s registration and redistricting issues concerning our area.
St. James Parish Hospital is continuing work to complete posthurricane repairs. Phase I repairs temporarily rerouted entry into the hospital’s Urgent Care and Therapy Center. Phase I repairs should be completed this week. Upon completion of Phase I repairs, the doors to the new entrance of the Medical Plaza addition will reopen and Urgent Care and Therapy Center patients can enter as usual.
