Formosa Allowed To Continue Limited Work As Permit Reviewed

As previously reported, a Federal Court in Washington, D.C. ruled on November 4th to temporarily suspend Formosa’s permit issued by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the reason for the suspension was to give the Corps additional time to go back and review certain parts of its analysis concerning the permit under the Clean Water Act .

The Andouille Trail: The Andouille Trail has been attracting the attention of more and more people looking to take a ride and find good things to eat. Recently the topic of a front-page feature in a regional newspaper, the trail winds its way through St. James Parish. Not only are the tourists sampling the smoked andouille, but they are also buying up some of the specialty meats and seafood wherever they stop. They also enjoy the local hospitality and stories shared by store owners. Let’s not leave all the sampling to the tourists, though. If you haven’t tried all the different andouille that local businesses have to offer, now’s a good time. You may even find other things you might enjoy eating.
