The St. James Parish School Board met Tuesday and the Board, who due to COVID-19 was several months behind normal schedule in announcing the winners, was finally able to publically recognize and honor the Teachers, Principal and Outstanding Support Staff of the Year.
The St. James Parish Council, during its regular meeting last Wednesday, received an update on preliminary plans for a multi-purpose building on the west bank that could ultimately house a biddy basketball facility as well as a wellness center for Parish residents.
