The St. James Business and Industry Association held its quarterly meeting on August 28, sponsored by OnPath Credit Union.
Additional Funds have become available for the Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) in St. James Parish. Lowincome residents of St. James Parish may be eligible for financial assistance to help pay utility bills. These additional funds are designated for St. James Parish Residents who are seniors over age 60, homebound, or disabled. Residents are ineligible if they received 2025 heating or cooling allocations.
On Tuesday, September 9th, St. James Parish Government held a Town Hall meeting to share information on the Flood Control Drainage Improvement Project for Rosary Street in Vacherie.
Carey Roussel, the 2025 Miss St. James Parish Queen, will be competing this weekend in the 82nd Louisiana State Sugar Queen Festival in New Iberia.
