An AARP safe driving course is being offered by St. James Parish Elderly Services in partnership with St. James Sheriff’s Office. The class is being held at District 4 Convent Community Center, 5781 Highway 44 Convent, LA 70723 on September 20, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The cost is $20.00 for AARP members and $25.00 for nonmembers; this cost covers all materials needed for the course. Participants must be 55 years of age or older. Please contact Elderly Services at 225--562 -2362 to register. Participants are asked to arrive fifteen minutes early for registration.
