OWA’S TROPIC FALLS: Why It’s Worth A Day Trip To The Gulf Coast

What is OWA? If you’re not familiar with OWA (pronounced ohwah) it’s a combination theme park-indoor water park-shopping-dining complex in Baldwin County in Foley, Alabama. It is located 12 miles north of Gulf Shores. The 100,000-plus square-foot, glass enclosed indoor water park is the centerpiece (for context, a football field is about 58,000 square feet). The water park opened in 2022, several years after the outdoor theme park.
