St. James Parish Sheriff Claude J. Louis Jr. announced late Tuesday evening the arrest of St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office Correctional Deputy Amaiya Fobb, a twentyyear- old female from Gramercy, for Malfeasance in Office and Sexual Conduct with a Person in an Institution.
The St. James Parish Council boosted the Parish’s two bantam football teams at the Parish Council’s regularly scheduled meeting held in Convent last Wednesday.

It is located 12 miles north of Gulf Shores. The 100,000-plus square-foot, glass enclosed indoor water park is the centerpiece (for context, a football field is about 58,000 square feet). The water park opened in 2022, several years after the outdoor theme park.
