The day following the St. James Parish Council’s 4 to 3 decision to change the designation of the Shady Grove area in Romeville from Agricultural to Industrial on the generalized future land use plan, attorneys for Inclusive Louisiana, Mt. Triumph Baptist Church and RISE St. James filed a temporary restraining order enjoining the Parish from taking further action to implement the ordinance.
