Lutcher Officials Adopt Operating Budget; Aldermen Raise Salary Of Police Chief And Clerk; Sewer Revenues Decrease Considerably
Gramercy Mayor and the Board of Aldermen on Monday heard a presentation on a new criminal case management system which will replace the municipality’s old, outdated software. Erin Davis Hall of Michel & Pratt Consulting, Inc. of Lake Charles spoke about Quick-Court Software already used by many small municipalities throughout the state. The software offers efficient traffic ticket entry through the Police Department, online payments, ledgers to track partial payments, detailed reporting and a simpler way of entering and updating data. Another benefit to the Town is that it will decrease the need for printed papers, which will save on storage place.
