Twin sisters Halle and Harper Copponex of Paulina have each earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest honor in Girl Scouting, and will be recognized at the Girl Scout Gold Award Recognition Dinner on April 14th in Gonzales.
At the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden in Baton Rouge, senior landscape manager Jason Stagg and his colleagues have been busy lately with an expansive, exciting project: planning, and planting, the landscape for the soon-to-be-opened welcome center.
Congratulations to Raymond and Cabrini Grob who have been selected to receive the Garden of the Month from the Riverside Garden Club for the month of April. They reside on Bon Sejour in Lutcher: Cabrini says she is the one who handles the flower gardening and Raymond cares for the lawn. It is evident that much care is given to the meticulously styled yard with all pathways very sharply edged and shrubs neatly shaped and trimmed.
