The St. James Parish School Board met last Wednesday and the Board recognized the Lutcher High girls and boys powerlifting teams as well as the Lutcher middle school Lady Bulldog softball team for making it to and winning their respective championships.
To pay for the proposed West Bank Multipurpose building near St. James High School, the St. James Parish Council sold $12 million in bonds.
The St. James Wildcat and Lutcher Bulldog baseball teams will begin their respective playoff runs this Friday and both teams have earned the right to host the second round best of three series.
